BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Students from Bellingham Technical College may have had their personal information exposed after a recent cyberattack.

BTC said they were notified on Monday, July 24th, that they were among the organizations whose data was affected by a global security incident.

The incident involved the National Student Clearinghouse, which provides personal and educational data exchange services to more than 3,600 colleges across the country.

BTC says they will soon receive a list of individuals who were affected and the types of personal information that may have been included.

Those students will be notified as soon as they are identified.
