MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A Skagit County pastor accused of leading a drug ring with links to Whatcom County has been sentenced.
KIRO reports that Pastor Steve Parker will spend four-and-a-half years in prison.
Parker was arrested in Mount Vernon last January and was found with nearly three pounds of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine.
Police also discovered 30 firearms between two of his homes.
Detectives with Skagit County’s drug enforcement unit received information that Parker was distributing drugs across Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish counties.
