BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) A fight involving a gun and a skateboard drew heavy police presence that backed up traffic in downtown Bellingham Thursday afternoon, December 21st.

Bellingham Police spokesperson Megan Peters says they got word of someone brandishing a firearm during a fight on Holly Street.

Another person hit someone with a skateboard to reportedly stop the fight.

The altercation ended before officers arrived on the scene.

The incident is still under investigation to determine who initiated the fight and exactly what transpired.
